Getting what
you really want in life needs a sustained vision of the future. That vision
serves not just as an ongoing source of motivation to get there, it helps you
identify and tackle the obstacles that have held you back until now. These
include fear of failure, such as doubts about your own worthiness for success.
And if you are like most people, you will also suffer from fear of achieving
the very things you want! The fear of success is a very unique issue that
arises when you are genuinely creating change and moving forward in your life.
It is very real because the future is real. We are all heading there and what
we imagine for our future has an enormous influence on us. Fear of success tend
to cluster several issues. This is a report on all that the fear of success means.
1.Always
try to be POSITIVE in every situation:
Try to stay
away from negative people and you will decrease the amount of negativity in
your life, at least by half. Practice daily gratitude, write down all the
positive events in your life, and you will notice how your negative attitude will
start melting away.
Start maintaining
a journal of positives!
2.Question
your fear:
Before you
can begin to overcome fear of success, you have to understand what success
means to you. Even though it may be tough to pinpoint specifically, doing this
will help you understand exactly what you fear.
3.Remind
yourself that you are part of something very big:
Fear often
has to do with worrying about uncertainty, feeling out of control, and wondering
what your life’s purpose is. When you realise you are part of a bigger picture,
even if you don’t fully understand what that is, it’s easier to ascertain that
you both deserve and need to be successful and happy.
4.Learn and
be aware:
People are
always scared of what they don’t know. It is always good to be a learner and
ask questions. When you get answer you become more confident.
5.Always live
a balanced life:
No matter
how important success might seem to you, it is still important to follow it
with balance; otherwise your journey towards success will turn into an obsession.
Success is
not a destination. It’s a journey, and it’s important that we take each step feeling
grounded and balanced.
“It is your
right and purpose in life to be successful in whatever you are doing. If you
believe in that, nothing will ever stop from living a balanced life”.
“Success is
more complex than failure. On some level, it’s more comfortable to stay in a
familiar situation, even if it doesn’t feel great on the surface. With success
you have suddenly entered unchartered territory. The feeling of newness is what
students can’t deal with”
